Finding the owner of any cell phone number

is becoming more and more important. I personally receive calls every day from numbers that I do not recognize. It is always kind of a dilemma when getting these calls. “Should I answer? “, or “Should I not answer?”

On one hand,

of course I should pick up the phone and just be nice, and again, on the other hand, I do not want to pick up a call from an unknown person. I might get stuck in a sales call, or ever worse, I might by something from that sales person that I do not need….
Nevertheless, I am sure I am not the only person who experiences this. There are a couple ways to deal with this problem that I’ve found

1.Let the call go to voice mail. Check your voice mail and call back
2.Look at the caller id, and dial that number

The issue I have doing this is
a.I do not want to check my voice mail throughout the day, just to reply to unknown callers
b.Many times when I have returned calls to numbers on my caller id, I get to either a voicemail or a nothing…no voice mail, no answer.

That gets frustrating. What I am doing now is using a phone cell number lookup service. The purpose of that is to find out all I can about the person calling me. Based on that information I decide if I should call back or not.

When I get to work or home,

I quickly scan my missed calls to see if there are some numbers that I recognize. For the other numbers, I login in to my online phone cell number lookup service and get all the information about who called me.

a.To pay a small fee ($10-$15) in order to get access to more detailed information for this single phone number
b.To pay another fee ($35-$40) to get unlimited searches with detailed information

It all depends on how much you see yourself using it.

I have the unlimited version because my entire family is using it and because I also check and see who has been calling my kids. That is very important to me. Nobody from out of state has any right to call my kids, and if they do, I want to know who they are.
