That’s the only two scenarios for me. I’m sure other people have other reasons; there are plenty of valid reasons.

So how do you actually find out the person behind that unknown call?

These days there are services out there, meaning on the internet, that specializes in helping other people find the owner behind the number. These services are called Phone Cell Number Lookup service, or Reverse Phone Services.

The way they work is;

1.You go to their website
2.Enter the phone number in question into the search box
3.Click “search now”
4.Wait a few seconds

Then the search results appear on the screen.

Most of the time you will only receive only a limited amount of information with a free trial (for some people that information provided is all they need). But for others you will be given a couple of options

1.Pay a small fee ($10-$15)for a one time detailed search, or
2.Pay a little more ($35-$40) for a year of unlimited searches.
